My name is Travers Nicholas and I work for EMC as a vSpecialist.
Every now and then I have ideas that give me a geeky kind of a buzz, and I really want to put them in writing somewhere. Thanks to a friend and colleague (Nickapedia!) whom I have a great deal of respect for, I now have a home for my random, occasional thoughts relating to Enterprise IT, and Server/Storage/Network Virtualization.
During my 12 years in IT I’ve worked in various roles including Linux Sysadmin, Infrastructure Architect, and Infrastructure Manager. I was pretty much always the guy in the room who would continually ask why, but whenever I was sold on an idea I would go at it 100 miles an hour.
When I’m not working or traveling I’m riding bikes and playing computer games with my four year old boy so I guess you could say I’m just like everyone else – time starved!
